The number of people who are experiencing homelessness in Clackamas County and our region remains at emergency levels. Join us for an update about the County’s multi-pronged efforts to address this crisis, along with information about two major initiatives:
Here Together: a coalition of service providers, business leaders, elected officials, and advocates who all believe homelessness in the metro area is not an unsolvable problem. Here Together is moving toward a region-wide response to homelessness that targets the roots of the problem and matches proven solutions with the scale and scope of the crisis.
Regional Supportive Housing Impact Fund (RSHIF): newly launched by a seed investment of $5.1 million from Kaiser Permanente and led by Health Share of Oregon, this collaborative of health care and philanthropic partners will combine philanthropic dollars with Medicaid funds and deploy them to support housing stability for people with complex health needs.
The panel will include representatives from Here Together, the Regional Supportive Housing Impact Fund and the Clackamas County Department of Health, Housing and Human Services.
